We're starting things off today with some tips from our recent Jumpstart Your Wedding Planning vendor party.  If you've never had the chance to attend one of our vendor parties, keep your eyes on our Facebook page as we've got some great events in store over the next few months.

With vacations, pool parties, school breaks and all of the other fun that comes with Summer, wedding planning tends to get put on the back burner during the hot months.  Every Fall we meet brides who have realized their Fall, Winter or Spring wedding is all of a sudden not that far off!  And we know that regardless of where you are in the wedding planning process, sometimes you need a bit of a jumpstart.  Here are some tips from the bridal pros on our Brilliant Bridal team to help you get the start you need!

  • If possible, avoid making other big life decisions such as switching jobs, buying or selling a house or car shopping while wedding planning.
  • Don't be afraid to ask friends and family for help with wedding planning. It's your big day and those that love you will be happy to give you a hand!
  • Do some research before trying on wedding gowns! It is really helpful to bring photos of gowns that interest you so your consultant knows what style you are going for.
  • Items, services and fees like alterations, taxes, special under garments, and tipping your vendors are often overlooked. Don’t forget to make room in your budget for these important things.

We'll be back next week with another Wedding Wednesday post sharing some great tips to help keep your wedding guests happy and cool during the still warm Phoenix Fall season.
