Welcome to our brand new blog series, Wedding Wednesday! In case you missed the intro to this new series, you can read all about it here.
We want to share info that makes the Brilliant Bridal website your go to Phoenix wedding blog.
We know Wedding Wednesday (aka #WW) has been around for a while and we hope you'll make space for us in your RSS feed.
The Fall season is one of the most popular for weddings in Arizona. With sunny skies and beautiful desert backdrops it's an obvious choice for brides and grooms seeking an outdoor wedding without having to worry about inclement weather. However, guests and bridal parties traveling to the Phoenix area for a Fall wedding are often surprised that temperatures are still in the low 90's and high 80's. Those of us that live in the area are even surprised (disappointed?) by how long the heat lingers.
Whether you're planning a destination wedding with guests traveling from far and wide or if you're hosting a local crowd, these ideas are sure to go a long way in keeping your guests cool and happy for any outdoor portions of your big day!
Custom Wedding Water Bottles
Nothing keeps wedding guests cool, hydrated and from getting too tipsy too fast better than water. And with so many fun options for custom water bottle labels, this practical item can also double as part wedding favor. We like the affordable options available from this Etsy seller.
Wedding Program Fans
Another affordable and multipurpose idea to keep your Phoenix wedding guests happy is to turn your wedding programs into fans. A breeze can be a rare thing to find in the Valley so equipping guests to help create their own can be a welcome addition. If you still need to have wedding programs made, we like this DIY option from Michael's or if crafting isn't your thing you can order them all ready to go from Magnet Street.

Finally, nothing helps beat the heat of an outdoor afternoon or early evening wedding like some shade. These paper parasols not only provide a great service, but add a fun and whimsical element to wedding pictures. They can get a bit pricy (we found the best deal on The Knot) so if you're planning a wedding on a budget consider purchasing just a few for elderly, pregnant, or guests with known health issues.
We'll see you back here next week for more Wedding Wednesday tips from our team. Until then, we'd love to hear from you! Leave us a comment to let us know what you think of the new blog series or share suggestions of topics you'd like us to cover.
