The two-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize gay marriage across the country happened earlier this week. Marriage equality isn't something that we want to take for granted and it deserves to be celebrated, so we are featuring a few of our Brilliant Brides' real weddings from this past year! To our brides and to many other couples and families this decision means the world, and we want to partner with them to show that love is love!
We hope that these images inspire you to plan your own wedding with love at the center and not to get caught up in all of the extra stuff. Focus on your marriage and each other, and the rest will fall into place. But one thing we can definitely help you figure out is what to wear on your big day! Wether you need to complement your fiancé's dress or tux (or anything else they might want to wear), we've got you covered!
Erin and Elana
Elana selected a gorgeous lace David Tutera gown that fit her personality so well, sweet, feminine and delicate! The v-neck straps and traditional buttons on the back of the dress were the perfect classical touch. Elana and Erin definitely have similar tastes as they both rocked lace dresses with dramatic backs, but each chose a dress to let their personal bridal style shine.
Courtney and Lindsay
Courtney chose a romantic, Justin Alexander a-line, gown that paired perfectly with Lindsay's fit-n-flare lace dress. The illusion neckline and full satin skirt make Courtney look like a modern day princess without taking too much of the spotlight off Lindsay! We love how similar these two dresses are with the illusion detailing, long trains and lace accents; they literally look like they were made to be worn together, and yet, each gown is distinctly different to let their charming personalities room to shine through.
Shawn and Myra
Shawn and Myra both found their dresses at our Denver location, and it was such a pleasure helping these ladies find gowns that would complement each other, but also let them express their personal style. Both of these dresses share a similar satin fabric and from behind they almost look like the exact same gown! Our stylists did an amazing job at selecting the perfect dresses for Shawn and Myra!
Congrats newlyweds; we wish you many years of happiness together! And thank you to JXC Photography for sharing these lovely images with us today!
