Sparking Saturdays have become our favorite day of the month! We have gotten to partner with some incredible local talent to not only make the process of "saying yes to the dress" more fun, but also, helping our brides find vendors for their special day! As Arizona wedding season is getting into full swing and local vendors are busier than ever, we decided to throw the event ourselves and DIY everything!

This Saturday, October 28th, we will be creating a wedding dress shopping experience you won't want to miss. As a bride, you and your bridal squad will feel pampered and get to enjoy a stress free day while kicking off the wedding celebrations with a little bubbly! But not just bubbly - treats, fresh blooms, and a sparkling selfie wall to document this special moment!

 DIY Candy Bar

We've created photo booths and floral bouquets before, but the real DIY inspo was for a Candy Bar (perfect timing with all of the Halloween treats for sale)!

We love the idea of taking advantage of items that will be one sale around the time you plan to tie the knot. This could save you a couple hundred dollars. It's just like shopping seasonal produce at the grocery store. Why pay more money when you don'e have to!

According to Sugar Ed, you'll want to pick your color scheme first. You can use your wedding colors to create something that compliments the rest of your decor. Then, you'll need to plan our what you want your tablescape to look like. This is the graphic used on the "Ultimate Guide to Cake Buffets." Know that you can scale this up or down to match the size of your event and the options are really endless. Once you've selected your canisters, pour water into a kitchen liquid measuring cup. Use it to fill each container, so you can see how many cups you'll need of each candy. Here is a link to a conversion chart that converts volume (cups) to weight (pounds), if you need to purchase your candy in bulk by the pound.

Feel free to tag us in your own Candy Bar, so we can see what you designed!
