Wedding Wednesday - 22 Wedding Trends We Love

After a way too long hiatus, we are back in the Wedding Wednesday game!  We love sharing our favorites snippets from around the wedding blogosphere and hope you find some inspiration for your big day along the way.  We know there's an endless amount of wedding inspo out there on the interwebs and we certainly aren't recreating the wheel.  Think of our Wedding Wednesday posts as a curated collection of wedding ideas with a Brilliant Bridal vibe; timeless designer looks without the designer price tag. So to reboot our Wedding Wednesday series, we're going big with this amazing collection of the top 22 wedding trends of the moment from the fantastic people at BRIT + CO!  We've picked four of the twenty-two as our favorites to share with you here, but make sure to hop over to their blog for all 22 trends.  Because, they're amazing.

1. Desert wedding inspiration

Ok - full disclosure - on BRIT + CO this image is used for trend spotting bridal gowns that are showing a bit more skin than usual, either through cut outs, slits, illusion necklines and backs, etc.  BUT we could help but love the desert setting of this image!  Since Brilliant Bridal was founded in the beautiful Phoenix desert, we have a soft spot for desert weddings. If you live outside of Arizona and are thinking of a destination wedding, or want to get married in January but don't want to freeze to death, consider our stunning desert and all she has to offer for your big day!

2. Suspended decor

Get your centerpieces off the table!  Even simple hanging poms or white lights will add affordable drama to your reception or ceremony space!

3. Communal dining

Get everyone around the same table and celebrate your new marriage!

4. No flower weddings

Not only do we love the look of this lush greenery, but flower budgets for weddings average around $2000!  This is a great wedding budget line item to save some green while going green!

Earthy Bohemian Wedding Inspiration Styled Shoot Feature on Ruffled Blog!

We are honored to be featured on Ruffled Blog today along with some incredible Arizona wedding professionals!  April Maura Photography along with Hytched Weddings nailed this earthy bohemian wedding inspiration look.

From the event designer, Hytched Weddings:

This shoot was inspired by a couple who has a passion for nature. This couple still desires a beautiful and unforgettable wedding, but wanted to incorporate many natural elements and make the event feel organic and free. There is a movement in weddings toward more of a rustic look, and in a sense it is authentic and true to who we are as human beings. We are wanderers, explorers, and ideally we are in tune with nature and the universe. I wanted this shoot to reflect those values.

See the full post with tons of swoon worthy photos and more about the vision behind this wedding shoot.  There is plenty of wedding inspiration for the nature loving couple!

Brilliant Bridal Arizona featured in the newest Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine!

We are so honored to be featured in the newest issue of Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine!  In March we joined forces with some incredible local wedding professionals to create a beautiful desert inspired styled wedding shoot. The concept was the vision of Tracy from Fully Alive Photography who's photography made the handiwork of all the other contributors absolutely shine.  We live in such a unique geographic area that has it's own one of a kind beauty.  Rather than hunting for an oasis in the desert, this spread in Phoenix Bride and Groom inspires couples to plan a wedding that lets the beauty of our Arizona desert be front and center.  We promise that with our mountains and cacti as your backdrop, your wedding won't look like every other image on Pinterest!

Tracy asked us to bring wedding dresses and bridal accessories with a bohemian or boho chic vibe.  Both featured bridal gowns were sold at Brilliant Bridal for under $1000 proving that you can have the latest on trend bridal looks with out breaking the bank!  The backless dress is discontined Alfred Angelo dress and the sleeved gown is a private label style.  (Please note: both of these dresses have since sold.  If you're looking for this style we would love to help you find something similar!)

Make sure to pick up the latest issue of Phoenix Bride in Groom since these images really pop when you see them on the printed page, but here are few sneak peeks of this fabulous desert inspired styled shoot.
