  1. Ask to see an entire wedding collection from start to finish so you can see the photographer's consistency in their work.
  2. Do an engagement session so you can see how the photographer works.  This will also help you warm up to the camera if you're uneasy have your photo taken.
  3. Find out if a second shooter is included in the package.  If it's an extra expense/option to add on, consider upgrading and getting a second shooter.  You will get more angles and more shots that you can't go back and get after the wedding.

  1. When searching for a photographer, make sure you find someone who's work you LOVE and someone you trust!
  2. Amazing photography is not inexpensive, make sure that you set a realistic budget for the type of photographer you are looking for.
  3. Pictures are what count the most!  If you are on a budget don't compare photography packages by what you will get, but by the quality you will receive.
  4. Hire a professional wedding coordinator; they will save you money in the long run and take so much stress out of the wedding planning and day of the wedding.
