It's the fourth and final week of our month long blog series "Crisis Averted!" If you are planning a wedding, it’s probably safe to say that you are feeling the pressure. There are so many little details to consider, it can make even the most type-A personality feel disorganized! As if the actual wedding details aren’t enough, there always seems to be underlying budget, family, friend or vendor drama surrounding an upcoming marriage. Don’t worry, though, because we are dedicating the whole month of November to sharing our advice on handling some common wedding issues. Hopefully our tips and tricks can help make this sometimes stressful experience a little easier!
Help! Our Favorite Wedding Vendor is Unavailable!
You had your heart set on the perfect wedding photographer only to find out that they are unavailable on your wedding date. After a small mourning period, you may feel panicked and rushed to find a back up. Keep calm and wedding plan on, friend!
In a situation like this, you don’t have to start your research from scratch. Your best bet is to ask the wedding vendor in question specifically who they would recommend as their replacement. They should be able to send you at least a couple reliable referrals; someone they personally trained, or even to the person who is responsible for their success.
If that doesn't get you far, ask another of your trusted wedding vendors for their recommendations. Or even give us a call here at Brilliant Bridal. The wedding industry is a very well connected group of professionals and we love sharing with our brides and grooms those we have personally interacted with and know will provide them with a great product and excellent service.
We hope the Crisis Averted blog series was helpful for you on your wedding planning journey. We'll be back next week with some fun new Wedding Wednesday content!
