Here at Brilliant Bridal, we like to know that you're looking your best on your big day from head to toe. It's important to pick a shoe that coordinates well with your dress, wedding theme, and one that you feel your very best in too! Remember ladies, you will be in this shoe for hours-- dancing and socializing with your guests, so comfort should play a big role when you're choosing the perfect shoe as well! Some wedding shoe inspo for you all below!

1. The Chic Bride

A chic bride is a bride who considers her style timeless, but she likes a little bit of sass and glam too! Her shoes may be an off white color or include jeweled embellishments. The chic bride likes to keep it classic but isn't afraid to step slightly out of the box.

2. The Romantic Bride

The romantic bride likes to keep things sweet and simple. She isn't going for a sexy platform shoe; she wants to be stylish yet practical. For her shoe selection, she prefers something simple yet elegant!

3. The Cool Bride

The cool bride isn't afraid to take fashion risks on her wedding day! Her shoe selection may include a dramatic lace up style or over the top accents. We're loving these two wedding shoe styles below!

4. The Timeless Bride

You can find the timeless bride shopping vintage boutiques for unique finds, wearing her grandmothers veil or a retro birdcage. She enjoys tradition, lace and doesn't stray far from the typical bridal style!

So which style would you say is your wedding shoe style? Chic, romantic, cool or timeless? Comment your style below!

Fall Wedding Color Trends to Look Forward to

Another busy wedding season is right around the corner! This one might be our favorite yet. We love everything about autumn! Spiced Pumpkin Lattes, the changing colors of leaves, comfy knits & scarves, boots, Halloween - need we say more!?

Fall season calls for more muted and romantic wedding colors compared to summer weddings. We're seeing lots of jewel & earth tones and complimenting colors in all of the bridal magazines. These new color pallets rolling out make us love fall that much more! Here's a few we're most excited about.

1. Eggplant - not the vegetable

We're big advocates for a blush, gold and ivory wedding... But the addition of eggplant to this pallet is exciting, crisp, and SO fall. By adding the deep purple color, greenery and other fall elements mix that much better. Need we say more?

2. Tiffany blue... In fall?

Yes, you heard that right. Tiffany blue, orchid, and antique silver make quite the serene statement when combined.  The look reminds us of a Japanese cherry blossom! Use this pallet along with ashy, naturally coffee woods, to finish off this rustic autumn look.

3. Bringing back color theory

We know that green and orange are complementary colors. By pairing tangerine and fern- you've got the perfect fall wedding color pallet! This pallet can go one of two ways. You can match the colors with white for a modern look, or light beige for a more traditional twist. Can you imagine your groom in a nice beige tux with a pop of tangerine on his boutonniere? Fall weddings don't always have to be so dark, and these complementary colors do just the trick!

4. Dusty Cedar

Meet Dusty Cedar, aka the new blush! This soft berry color is all the rave and was named one of Pantone's Fall 2016 colors. We're loving this romantic hue of cranberry. It can be paired with neutrals like beige and grey for a more muted look or paired with jet black for a little more drama.

5. Farm to Table

Ok now this might not necessarily be a color pallet, however, if you can't already tell, we are obsessed with fresh fruit infused wedding decor! From figs to berries, citrus to apples, you can really work your favorite fruits into your bouquet or centerpieces for a more organic farm to table look. Just be sure that buffet line moves fast or else your centerpieces may be gone ;)

Summer Wedding Makeup Tips

Whether you're a bride or a guest, summer wedding makeup can go really right or really wrong. Being in the wedding industry we have found, that in this generally hot season, the lighter the better. As a bride, a fresh subtle face is what your guests want to see. Your natural colors, combined with your radiant smile are more than enough-- we promise! Of course, there's ways to do this, while feeling confident in your natural-looking skin! We've thrown together some important summer makeup tips to remember for your special day!

1. Go light on the skin

We're big advocates for this tip in particular! Summer means heat, combined with dancing, socializing and just movin' around! Don't clog your pores. Go easy on the foundation, and touch it off with a light layer of powder-- or tell your makeup artist this is what is sensible! Say no to contouring for the day. The one exception to this, is using a light pink blush to accentuate your already gorgeous features! Let your natural beauty be seen by those who love it most.

2. Let us see your pretty eyes!

A light eye shadow will definitely do the job. Avoid dark browns and deep maroons to stay away from that beloved fall look. As far as eyeliner goes, a thin line on your top lid does volumes to brighten up your eyes! Consider using a brown liner if you have lighter eyes or skin. No need for a cat tail or harsh thick line. Something really neat you can do with your bottom eye liner, is smudge the line below your lashes. If you insist on wearing false eyelashes, don't go with extremely thick and long ones! There are plenty out there that will allow you to continue with that natural look you're going for. Remember, you can always trim them, too!

3. Don't skip a bold brow

Thick brows have definitely made a come back in recent years. Fill them in so they're "on fleek", but stop there. No need to take a pen to them! Again, this is one type of make up that would be pretty embarrassing if it smudged off throughout the night.

4. Pretty and pink smooches!

A lot of people tend to forget the lips! The truth of the matter is, your light pink or blush lip color is going to add to your natural look! Whether you prefer a gloss or a lipstick, choose light and pink. Below are our favorite lip looks.
